JDM is a synonim used to describe Japanese Domestic Market. Apart from US or European market cars, Japanese manufacturers equip some of their models with more powerfull engines and performance enhancing parts that are only avaliable for Japanese domestic market cars.

Japanese manufacturers are known for their reliable and high-tech engines. Generally compact in size, these engines do not deliver any more that 280hp because of regulations in Japan.
